ANGELA ROSE HOUSE affectionately called Ann, was born June 15, 1963 in Buffalo, New York to the late Al and Lena House.
Ann’s early education was received in the Buffalo Public School System, later furthering her education in the Alabama School System. Ann relocated back to Buffalo, NY enlisting in the United States Army National Guard.
Ann was a believer in the Word of God. She faithfully attended True Bethel Baptist Church under the pastorate of Bishop Darius G. Pridgen. Ann’s various talents allowed her many employment opportunities as a Welder; a Cook at Canisius College; a Certified Nursing Assistant at Niagara Lutheran Nursing Home and as a Private Duty Health Care Aide.
Ann enjoyed sports and was a huge Buffalo Bills fan. Filled with a passion for cooking, cooked EVERYTHING! There was nothing that she could not cook. Profuse in hospitality, her fervency for cooking and her love for others was apparent as she unselfishly shared her cooking with her many family and friends.
Angela Rose House received the greatest grace of eternal peace; On March 4, 2018 she was called home from this life into the open arms of the Creator. She will be remembered by many for her generosity and benevolence.
She is preceded in death by one brother, Johnny Moore; and stepson, Nathaniel A. Beason.
Angela leaves to cherish her memory her companion of 18 years, fiancé, Nathaniel Beason; one son, Larashai Burton (Indeed); one granddaughter, Nyla Burton (mother, Ira); three stepchildren, Florence A. Barnes, Ida R. Barnes and Christopher J.T. Beason; four sisters, Lynn Singletary, Deborah Singletary, Ernestine Singletary and Michelle Williams (Danny), all of Buffalo, NY; six brothers, Lonnie Davis (Bridgette) and Douglas Davis, both of Philadelphia, PA, Leonard Singletary of Salsbury, MD, Curtis Singletary of Forney, TX Charles and Richard Singletary of Olean, NY. She also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other loving family and friends.
Family will receive friends Tuesday, March 13, 2018, 10am at True Bethel Baptist Church, 907 E. Ferry St. Funeral to follow at 11am.
