Denise D. Mattison-Jones

DENISE D. MATTISON-JONES, affectionately called "Neece," was born December 5, 1954 to the late Mark L. and Edith R. Bridgewater-Mattison.

 Denise attended St. Mary Magdalene Grammar School and Bishop McMahon High School. She furthered her education at the University of Buffalo; She was a straight "A and B" student. Denise worked at various jobs including Burger King, where she was the Assistant Manager; Deaconess Hospital as a Health Care Aide; Buffalo General Hospital as a Secretary; Installs, Inc. as a Geek Squad Customer Service Rep; and at Buffalo Employment Services as a Coordinator over the food pantry. She was very outgoing throughout her life. 

Denise accepted the Lord as her personal savior and had several church homes throughout her walk with Christ.

Denise sustained a few injuries from work which forced her into an early retirement. However, she never let it stop her from being active with her family, friends and church. No matter her pains, she always kept a smile on her beautiful face.

Denise is preceded in death by her husband, John H. Henry.

She leaves to cherish her memories two sisters, Elizabeth A. and Joy L; one brother, Philip Mattison; nieces, Stephanie, Felicia, Enjsleen and MyLnn; nephews, Adrian, Edward, Byron, Quentin, Brandyn and Dalorean; cousins, Zaid and Jean Haykal; best friends for life, Arrie Moore and Elaine Foster and a host of other loving family and friends.

Family will received  friends 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 17, 2018 at Brian K. Lewis Funeral Home, 2528 Bailey, Buffalo, New York 14215.  Funeral to follow at 12 noon.
