Dorothy M Ford

DOROTHY M. FORD was born July 21, 1941 in Jennie, Arkansas to the late Willie Reed Sr. and the late Pinkie M Reed. She departed this life July 11, 2017 in Buffalo, NY.

Dorothy accepted Christ at an early age; She continued to serve Him until her passing.

Dorothy was educated in the Lake Village Public School System and went on to work for the Buffalo Public School System, until her illness occurred.

Dorothy loved to travel and watch game shows. She loved Gospel music, and always had to start her day off listening to FC Baranes & Company's Rough Side of the Mountain and Kenny Rogers.

Dorothy is preceded in death by three brothers, Willie (Beadie) Reed, Alma L. (We) Reed and Jimmy L. Reed; and three sisters, Geraldine (Honey) Reed, Lucrecia (Bay) Reed and Johnnie M. Reed.

She leaves to cherish her memory seven children, Patrick R. Reed of Iowa City, IA, Dennis E. Reed, Vincent Ford (Cora), Michael W. Ford, Patricia A. Jones (Dawan), Christopher W. Ford and Billy R. Crews, all of Buffalo, NY; one sister, Mazzie Harden of Lake Village, AK, three brothers, Tommy Reed (Verna) of Pine Bluff, AK, Frank H. Reed (Debra) of Lake Village, AK and Roy L. Reed of Shreveport, LA; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and other loving relatives and friends.

Services will be held Friday, July 21, 2017, 12 noon at Brian K Lewis Funeral Home, 2528 Bailey Ave.
