Freda Ann (Rodgers) Howard

FREDA ANN HOWARD (nee Rodgers) of Niagara Falls, died on April 28, 2016 at Mount St. Mary's Hospital, Lewiston , NY following a long illness. She was 38. She was born in Niagara Falls on June 24, 1977, the daughter of Frederick Jordon Jr. of Niagara Falls, NY and the late Mary W. Rodgers.

She attended local schools including Niagara Falls High School. Freda was employed at Mount St. Mary's Hospital for 16 years as Laundry Supervisor. Her favorite pastime was reading books and spending time with her family and especially her grandkids.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband of 17 years Willie Howard. Four sons Omara and Dartanian Howard of Niagara Falls, NY. Willie and Brandon Howard of Lockport, NY. One daughter Jeimella Howard of Cincinnati, OH. Five sisters Hattie Herbert, Ka-Shara Jordon, Tanisha Jackson, Margurite Herds and Valerie Rhinehart of Niagara Falls, NY. One brother-in-law James D. Howard and one sister -in law Pamela Roberts of Niagara Falls, NY. She leaves to mourn her grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She was predeceased by her second mother Lottie Rodgers and two brothers Donald and Rickey Rodgers.

Family will receive friends Wednesday 11:00 am at Mt. Erie Baptist Church, 1152 Fairfield Ave., Niagara Falls, NY 14305. Funeral to follow at 12 noon. Interment at Oakwood Cemetery, 763 Portage Road, Niagara Falls, NY.  Arrangements by Brian K. Lewis Funeral Home, 347 Peckham St, Buffalo, NY.
