Harold C Robinson, Jr

HAROLD CLARK ROBINSON JR., affectionately known as “Rob,”  was born on July 27, 1948 to Irene (nee Grinage) and Harold Clark Robinson, Sr in Buffalo, New York.  

Harold was educated in the Buffalo Public School System. In 1974, Harold enlisted into the United States Marine Corp, receiving an honorable discharge in 1974. Following his military tenure, Harold held gainful employment at various jobs; He was employed by Bethlehem Steel, University at Buffalo, Roswell Park Cancer Institute, New York State Assemblyman Arthur O. Eve and most currently, in maintenance at Buffalo General Medical Center.

Rob was a proud father. He would stick out his chest and his eyes would light up when speaking of his son, Harold C. Robinson, III.

On October 8, 2017, Harold received the greatest grace of eternal peace; He was called home from this life into the open arms of the Creator.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Irene and Harold C. Robinson, Sr; one brother, Bruce Grinage; and one sister, Paula Robinson.

Harold leaves to cherish his memory his son, Harold C. Robinson, III (Keisha) of Atlanta, GA; two brothers, Michael and David Robinson; the love of his life and companion of 18 years, Jeraldine Ridgeway and sons, Derek (Lavonda), Charles, and Maurice; and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins,  other living family and friends.

Family will receive friends Saturday, October 21, 2017, 1pm at Brian K. Lewis Funeral Home, 2528 Bailey Ave. Funeral to follow at 2pm.
