Johnny W. Williams

Johnny was born on October 12, 1958 to Rev. John T. Gibson and Mrs. Ernestine Williams.  Johnny had a fun filled life.  In his early years, Johnny attended Sunday school and church faithfully with his siblings, cousins and maternal grandmother, Mrs. Eula Booze who they affectionately called "Momma".

Johnny received his education at various schools in Buffalo, NY, and Lackawanna, NY.  He received his vocational training at the Occupational Education Center in Lackawanna, NY,

Johnny was a very likeable person who made multiple friends along the way (leaving his mark).  He loved music and loved to dance, he would dance his heart out.  (Definitely one of the best dancers you've ever seen).  Johnny was truly the life of the party.  Johnny was famous for being one to follow "Johnny Rules," not patterned by the law.  He did what he wanted, when he wanted.  Johnny was one unique individual, not easliy forgettable.  He kept you laughing or kept causing you to yell at him for something.

Johnny passed away unexpectedly in his home.  Johnny was proceeded in death by his brothers Angelo Williams and John Gibson, sisters Terry (Martin) Williams, Nadine (Frankie) Williams and Tracy May. 

He leaves to cherish his memory his father, Rev. John T. Gibson; mother, Mrs. Ernestine Williams; brothers, Keith Williams of (Buffalo, NY), Larry Williams of Columbus, OH), John Gibson Jr. (Tennessee), Jerome Gibson of (Texas); sisters, Margret Blue of (Florida) and Sheila Gibson of (Tennessee), as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.

                  He will be greatly missed by many. (FAMILY ONE-LESS STRONG)!

Memorial service will be held Wednesday, January 20, 2016, 1pm at Brian K. Lewis Funeral Home, 347 Peckham St., Buffalo, NY 14206.
