Kathleen Bridges

KATHLEEN BRIDGES, affectionately known as “Kattie,” was born  March 6, 1966 in Buffalo, New York to the late Marvin Bridges and Jessie McNair.  God saw fit to call Kathleen from earthy labor to heavenly reward on January 21, 2016.

Kathleen received her education in Erie, PA.  After the birth of her only child, Le’Tis, she and her young daughter relocated back to Buffalo in the early 1980’s, where she continued her education.

Kathleen dreamed of traveling.  She loved plants, having  a “green thumb,” but most of all, she loved her family.  Growing up the oldest of four, she was blessed with a nurturing spirit, having looking after her younger sisters and brother and developing a close bond with them. 

Kathleen was a provider, working various jobs to care for her family.   For many years, she worked as a Home Health Aide and more recently gainfully employed by 7 Eleven and Parker Supply, until her passing.

Preceding Kathleen in death is her father, Marvin Bridges.

Kathleen leaves to cherish her memories one daughter, Le’Tis Little; four grandchildren, Tyreeck Wright, Elijah Little, Zaden Little and Zamir Cusack; her mother, Jessie Watson; two sisters, Sonya Ransom and Benita Gwyn; one brother, Benjamin Watson, Jr and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other family and friends.

 Family will receive friends Friday, February 5, 2016, 10am at New Life Harvest, 1965 Bailey Ave. Funeral to follow at 11am. Interment at St. Matthew's Cemetery-W. Seneca.
