Lanette R. Sumner

LANETTE R. SUMNER,  was born January 21, 1965 to the late Dorice Sumner and Evelyn Royster (George) in Buffalo, NY. Lanette departed this life Saturday June 10, 2017. 

Lanette was educated in the Buffalo Public School System and graduated from Seneca Vocational High School. In her later years, she was employed by First Student, where she lovingly worked for more than 20 years.

Lanette is preceded in death by one brother, Tyrone.

She leaves to mourn her passing her only daughter, Christina Walker; one Godson, Jeremy; one brother, Marvin Sr; one sister, Letearia; two God sisters, Angela (Michael) and Helen; three nephews, Marvin Jr., Michael and Terrance; three nieces, Martina (Jamone), Martrice and Precious; two great-nieces, Zy'eria and Jazail (Ham); and a host of family and friends.

 Family will receive friends  11:00 a.m at Prayer Tower Cathedral C.O.G.I.C. 1275 Kensington Ave., Buffalo, New York 14215.  Funeral to follow at 12:00 noon.
