Lisa D Carter

LISA D. CARTER, was born on May 10, 1987 to Lisa Carson and Gary Carter in Buffalo, New York.

Lisa attended Campus West, later attending Buffalo Traditional High School.

Lisa loved spending time with family and friends; She spent most of her time at her grandmother’s house. She enjoyed watching The Lifetime Channel, talking on the phone, cracking jokes, and eating her favorite, steak subs (dripping).

Lisa was a humorous, loving and caring person; Always a listening ear with a loveable and kind-hearted spirit. She will be dearly missed.

Following a brief illness, Lisa received the greatest grace of eternal peace. On Sunday, July 16, 2017, she was called home from this life into the open arms of the Creator.

Lisa leaves to cherish her memories two beautiful children: daughter, Jayonna Price and son, Jayshawn Price; her loving mother, Lisa Carson (Sam, III) and beloved father, Gary Carter; sister, Joylia Carter; two stepbrothers, Sam Carson IV and Jerone Carson; grandmothers, Carrie Lee Sumpter and Lynda (Maurice) Woods;; grandfather, Jimmie Carter; niece, Jalia Foots “Niecey Poo,” and a host of other loving family and friends.

Family will receive friends Friday, July 21, 2017, 11am at Providence Memorial Chapel. Funeral to follow at 12 noon. Interment held at St. John's Cemetery-Cheektowaga.
