STANLEY B. WALLACE, SR. was born October 16, 1952 to both the late Edward A. and Evelyn Wallace in Bessemer, Alabama.  He departed this life Monday, August 1, 2016 in Buffalo, New York.

Stanley was educated in the Alabama school system.  He graduated high school in Bessemer, Al.   In 1976, Stanley relocated to Buffalo, NY.  Here, he met the former Doris Redfern and they united in holy matrimony in April of 1979.  To this union, two children were born: Shaquita and Stanley, Jr.

By trade Stanley was a welder.  He also was a licensed truck driver, at one point, gainfully employed by the Buffalo News.

As a child, Shaquita would love going fishing with her father.  He was known as "Creek Man" because of his fascination of the aquatic life near the creek.  Stanley, Jr., however, was not so excited because he thought fishing was a boring sport.  Albeit, the time spent with their father was most precious.  Stanley loved sports.  He played baseball during his high school years and was an avid football fan, especially of his hometown team, the Buffalo Bills.  He could often times be found watching football with his brother-in-law, Dearest, calling play for play.

In addition to the memories of him fishing and enjoying sports, he was a "Mr. Fix-It," but the most fondest would be of Stanley's love of his family and in-laws.  He would always be the one found grilling at all of the cookouts.  He got along with everyone and never argued with anyone.  His memory will always be remembered by loving times.  The loved shared between his Stanley, his children and their mother has been an unbreakable bond.  He will be truly missed by all!

Stanley is preceded in death by his sisters, Cynthia and Lynn; and brother, Galen.

He leaves to cherish his memories his beloved wife and friend of 39 years, Doris R.; daughter, Shaquita B; son, Stanley B. Jr; sister, Angela and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family and friends.
