STEPHANI ANN (LENZ) TRIOLI departed this life much too soon on November 24, 2016 in Buffalo, New York. Stephani was born to Mary L. Lenz on July 13th, 1987 in Clearwater, Florida. Stephani was a born caretaker, had a passion for music, and was a loving mother to her puppies.
Stephani was a personal WebMD for her loved ones, the sheer amount of medical knowledge that she possessed was nothing short of astounding. Whether it was a person or a puppy, she would stop at nothing to ensure that they got the care that they needed.
Stephani was as passionate about music as she was about medicine, with just a couple of lyrics or the simple hum of a tune, Stephani knew exactly what you were thinking. From classic rock to K-pop and all things in between she loved it all, so much so that she incorporated many musical lyrics into her body art.
Stephani showed true maternal instincts when it came to her puppies. There was no avenue she wouldn't take to ensure the health, safety, and happiness of her puppies. None more so than her service animal Lucy, on 2 separate occasions Stephani pulled Lucy from the clutches of death further solidifying the bond they shared.
We would like to share a few fond memories of Stephani that paved the way to who she became.
When Stephani was two years old, she went to visit her nanny in Massachusetts for Christmas. While at Aunt Dotsie and Uncle Harold's house, the hot water heater suddenly stopped working. Stephani was by his side every step of the way to make sure it was done right.
At the age of four, Stephani had put a bead in her ear that had to be surgically removed. While in the recovery room Stephani begged to go home, but her mother told her they could not leave until Auntie Linda got there. Even though Stephani was groggy from anesthesia, when she arrived, Stephani jumped up and said "I'm out of here" and ran down the hall leaving her mother and Linda behind.
As God Mother to Stephani, Auntie Cheryl remembers being there for the Baptism, First Communion, Confirmation, and walking Stephani down the aisle. Stephani was Cheryl's first God Child, and even though each of their religious beliefs brought them down a different path, Cheryl respected the fact that Stephani was always a spirited soul and followed her own heart.
Thanksgiving at the age of 12, Stephani cooked her first holiday meal from scratch. After working diligently all day long she said to her mother "I think next year we will go out to eat."
Jason and Stephani started dating in their Junior year of high school, they were high school sweethearts and always knew that one day they would get married. On November 13th, 2008 Stephani gave Jason the honor of being his bride. Always a free spirit, Stephani and Jason lived together in various locations across the country over the years.
On a visit to EPCOT, Stephani and her mother were caught in a rain storm that lasted five hours. Conveniently they were at the cantina in Mexico. With nothing else to do, Stephani and her mother enjoyed margaritas, conversation, and feeding nachos to the duckies.
Stephani was loved by family, friends and her puppies. Her sudden passing was devastating to us all and will leave a void that will never be filled. Never could it be imagined that we would be attending Stephani's funeral. The only comfort received from her sudden passing is knowing she is no longer in pain.
Stephani is survived by her loving husband, Jason: her mother, Mary L. Lenz; mother-in-law, Carey Trioli and father-in-law, Michael Trioli; grandfather, Richard Trioli; grandmother, Katherine Eggleston; aunts, Cheryl Lenz-Curran and Linda Lenz-Abrams; uncle, Herve' Abrams and favorite uncle, Harold Curll, Sr. She is also survived by six brothers and sisters-in-law and six nieces and nephews.
Stephani is also survived by her puppies, Lucy and Gizmo and grandpuppies, Marley and Emily.
She is preceded by her grandparents, Philip and Lillian T. Lenz; puppy Cerberus and grandpuppy Lilly.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 30, 2016, 12-3pm at Brian K. Lewis Funeral Home, 2528 Bailey Ave. Funeral to follow at 3pm.
