Beatrice Fields

BEATRICE FIELDS was one of five children, born to Major Johnson and Cora Johnson.  Beatrice Fields was born in Morehead City, North Carolina on September 15, 1923.  She came to Buffalo, New York in 1956 and was baptized in the name of Jesus Christ and received the Holy Spirit under the pastorate of Pastor Robert Deas.  She loved the Lord and she loved Pastor Asbell when he would visit her.  When he wasn't there she would say, "Where is Pastor?".  She loved cooking and taking care of her family.  She loved in this life and throughout her earthly journey, taught me to love.

Mother is resting now in the arms of the living Christ, rest well my dear.  You have given me and all of your children more than we could ever asked for.  We were together a few days ago and how she enjoyed our time together.  Greet my husband, grandmother, sister, nephew until we meet again.

Forever my loving Mother leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter Miss Julia Walker, Jeanette Trait and Charley Trait, son Johnnie Fields of Buffalo, NY, son Roy Fields of Humble, Texas.  She preceded in death by her daughter Peggy Belk.  She also leaves a host of grandchildren, great-grand nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Family will receive friends 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 16, 2019 at the Brian K. Lewis Funeral Home, 2528 Bailey Ave., Buffalo, New York, 14215.  Funeral to follow at 12 p.m.
