Delores Lee

DELORES LEE was born on October 4, 1931 to the late Isaac and Pearl Scales in Redtown, Pennsylvania. On April 20, 2019, Delores transitioned from her earthly home to her heavenly home.

Delores married the late William Walker, Sr; to this union, four children were born: Sandra, Vincent, Willadean, and Barbara. The family relocated to Buffalo, New York, where she found gainful employment as a cook, along with other various employment opportunities.

Delores was a faithful member of Emmanuel Temple Seventh-Day Adventist Church where she ushered and volunteered.

Delores remarried to Harry Lee, who preceded her in death. One sister, Virginia Stewart, also preceded her in death.

She leaves to cherish her memory two daughters, Sandra Walker and Barbara Walker-Steverson; one sister, Dorothy Scales, ten grandchildren, Donald, William, Rebecca, Vincent, and Deon Walker, DeMarco, Haron, DeCarrio, DeAnna, and Hassan Sanders; one niece, Virginia Madyun (Raqeeg) and a host of loving great-grandchildren, family and friends.

Family will receive friends Friday, April 26, 2019, 10am at Providence Memorial Chapels, 1275 Sycamore St. Funeral to follow at 11am.
