Welcome to the memorial page for

Jeffrey Loynes

January 17, 2018

JEFFREY LOYNES, was born May 16, 1957, Buffalo, New York, the fifth son of the late Reverend James Loynes Sr. and the late Jessie Evans.

He was educated in the Buffalo School System.  Dad always enjoyed baseball and taught Jeffery to pitch a baseball the way that his father taught him as a young boy.  Jeffrey really enjoyed watching wrestling on television and often did impressions of Ernie "The Big Cat" Ladd, the former defensive tackle of the San Diego Chargers and Kansas City Chiefs turned wrestler.

Jeffrey grew up in the Perry Projects where many lifetime bonds and friendships were established and valuable lessons about life were learned.  He returned to Buffalo in August 2017 after moving to Queens, N.Y, for many years.  He passed away January 17, 2018 after a long illness.

Jeffrey leaves to mourn, one brother, Paul E. Loynes Sr.; three sisters, Wendy Sanders (Alvin-d), Michelle Sanders (George), of New York State and Janice (aka Preyah) of Dimona, Israel.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Jessie Evans; his father, Rev. James Loynes Sr; five brothers, Joseph Loynes, Gregory Loynes, Curtis Sillmon, Benjamin Loynes and James Loynes Jr.  He will be missed by many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
