Joanne Wilson

JOANNE JOHNS WILSON "Mima" passed on Wednesday, February 27, 2019, surrounded by her family. Joanne was born September 3, 1947, a twin to the late Joseph Johns, born to the late Ulas and Lucille Johns.

Joanne attended school in Lackawanna, NY. She worked continuously and was a very dedicated employee at both Morgan Laundry and Freezer Queen for many years, providing the most comfortable and most loving life for not only herself, but for her children and grandchildren. Joanne enjoyed crossword puzzles, TV game shows and playing cards with friends.

Joanne is survived by her children, Angie and Damon; five grandchildren, Ashley, Arianna, Kenisha, Aviyere, and Damon Jr; six great-grandchildren; one sister, Ethel Mae (Charles) and one brother, Clarence, both of Detroit, MI; sister/friend, Alfredia Medler and friend, Janice Greer. She also leaves a host of other loving family and friends.

Family will receive friends Monday, March 4, 2019 from 5-7pm at Brian K. Lewis Funeral Homes, 2528 Bailey Ave.
