Joshua Dupree Beason

Joshua Dupree Beason was born on April 13, 1987 in Erie, PA to Sabrina Peavy and Dwight D. Beason.

Joshua graduated from Bennett High School in 2005 and attended Erie Community College.  Joshua loved to laugh, travel and watch sports.  His favorite team was the LA Lakers.  He loved everyone.  He was known to all of us as “Big Unk.”  He departed this life suddenly on May 6, 2014. Joshua was preceded in death by his sister, Dupreeanna Nesha Thomas and grandmother, Eloise Beason.

He leaves to mourn his mother, Sabrina Peavy; father, Dwight D. Beason; sisters, Lashawnda Peavy (Pittsburgh, PA), Tonya Peavy (Buffalo, NY), Steffasia Bibbs (Laurel, MS), Jalea Turner and Jada Cooley;  brothers, Jerel Beason (Laurel, MS) and Jaquail Yamani  (Pittsburgh, PA); 1 niece, 3 nephews and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.

Family will receive friends Thursday, May 15, 2014, from 4-6pm at Providence Memorial Chapel, 1275 Sycamore St, Buffalo NY and again on Saturday, May 17, 2014, 11am at Word of Life Christian International Church, 660 Hess Ave, Erie PA.  Funeral to follow at 12 noon.  Interment will be held at Erie Cemetery.
