LEOLA MACK was born May 11, 1937 in Holt, Alabama to the late Edward Bishop and Alberta Kennedy Bishop. Leola was a loving mother, sister, and grandmother who enjoyed life to the fullest.
Leola relocated to Buffalo at the age of 15. She then went to school for Cosmetology and became a Licensed Beautician. She later was employed by General Motors. Leola dedicated her life to caring for children through adoption and foster care. She was a devoted Christian who loved the Lord. She has touched so many people's lives. You could say that she was an angel on earth.
Leola departed this life Saturday, October 13, 2018. Loving mother, grandmother and friend. She leaves to cherish her memories two daughters, Cathy Jones and Davidia (Steven) Aiken; seven sons, Michael (Lydia) Mack, Jonathan Mack, Dametrius Mack, Justin Mack, Ronnie (Anne) Jones, Donnie (Michelle) Jones and Robyn Jones; seven grandchildren, Jason Ampy, Latina Abram, Christopher Mack, Keaira Aiken, Marquell Mack, Mano Mack, and Turrell Mack; one sister, Dorothy Bishop; one brother, Edward Bishop and a host of other loving family and friends.
Preceding Leola in death are five brothers and four sisters.
Family will receive friends Thursday, October 18, 2018, 10am at Pentecostal Temple, 618 Jefferson Ave. Funeral to follow at 11am. Interment at St. Matthew's Cemetery.
