Maurice Ridgeway Obituary

MAURICE T. RIDGEWAY was born January 23, 1971 to Charles Sonny and Jerildine Ridgeway in Buffalo, New York.

Maurice, affectionately called “Reese,” attended and graduated from Buffalo Public School #80 and Hutchinson Central Technical High School. Reese was employed at two jobs in which he loved, driving cabs and working for his friend and boss, Bill Bichler (and “Crew”) at Bill’s Auto.

Reese was the life of the party and he enjoyed life to the fullest. Whatever Reese wanted, he got it all on his own. Reese loved his cars. More so, Reese loved extending his helping hands to people no matter the time of day. He was a loving family man; he loved his mother, brothers and entire family dearly and will truly be missed by many   family and friends, especially his “road dog,” Tim.

On Friday. May 4, 2018, Maurice “Reese” Ridgeway was called from labor to reward.

He is preceded in death by his father, Charles E. Ridgeway.

Maurice’s memory is left to cherish by his children, Melissa Ridgeway, Keesha Woods, Brandon Ridgeway and Monae Ridgeway; mother, Jerildine Ridgeway; brothers, Charles Ridgeway, Derek (Lavonda)  Houston, and Tim Ferguson and a host of loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and dearest friends.
