Minnie L Blenman

MINNIE L. BLENMAN was born to the late Sam and Lillie Horton on November 3, 1925 in Gaffney, South Carolina. She was called to rest on October 6, 2018.

Minnie attended school in Gaffney, SC. She relocated to Buffalo, NY in 1945 ot help her uncle. She later found employment and friends that she loved, driving daily to Orchard Park for work.

Minnie united in holy matrimony to the late Norris Blenman in 1964. She joined First Shiloh Baptist Church and was a faithful member of the Usher Board. She enjoyed the ushers marching with a big smile. 

Minnie loved cooking and baking cakes. She loved spending time with her family and playing Pinochle with her friends; she was loved by many.

Minnie leaves to mourn one son, Thomas Eugene Horton (Stella); two grandchildren, Jeannie and Sharde; six siblings, Sam, JB, Vivian, Sonny, Roy and Ronnie and a host of other loving family and friends. 

Preceding Minnie in death are her parents, and five siblings, Ralph, Clarence, Thomas, Floyd and Willie Ray.

Family will receive friends Saturday, October 13, 2018, 11am at First Shiloh Baptist Church, 15 Pine St. Funeral to follow at 12 noon. Interment at Buffalo Cemetery.
