WILLIAM "BILLY' WEEDEN was born June 21, 1946 in Adalusia, Alabama to the late Bishop Willie James Weeden and Demoville Weeden; he was the second oldest of 14 children.
Billy moved from Alabama to Niagara Falls, NY with his family in the 1960s. He attended and graduated from Niagara Falls Trott Vocational High School. Billy worked various jobs from cotton picking to hotel management. He retired in 1988, devoting his life to enjoying his family.
February 7, 2019, Billy was called from his earthly tabernacle. He leaves to cherish his memories nine children, Lovella (NayNay)Whitely, Tamki Vinson, Talesia Vinson, Victoria Weeden, Sarah Weeden and Whitney Weeden, William Weeden IV, Armand Weeden and John Weeden; five sisters, Mautice Weeden, Linda Cunningham, Gina Weeden, Mary Ann Simmons and Tara Hawkins; two brothers, Wayne and Paul Weeden, and a host of other loving family and friends.
Billy will be known for his style and humor. He was generous, laid-back, complex (yet simple) and was always willing to help and come to the rescue.
Family will receive friends Saturday, February 23, 2019, 11am at Providence Memorial Chapels, 1275 Sycamore St. Funeral to follow at 12 noon.
