Charles G. Hudson was born on September 16, 1953 to the late Vernon and Marion R. Hudson. Charles passed away peacefully on April 16, Charles attended Buffalo Public Schools #15, 17 and 76. he attended Grover Cleveland High School where he played on the football team from his freshman to his senior year. Charles lived and breathed football. He was a people person who loved custom made hats, the outdoors and outdoor sporting at all High Stadium. Charles was an avid music lover. Growing up he and a few of his neighborhood friends formed a 4 Piece Band, Charles played the guitar. Jazz quickly became his music of choice. His grandfather Joe and his uncle "Big Charles" introduced him to all sorts of Jazz and Jazz artists.
Charles and Carolyn McMillan met and dated for 40 years. They united in holy matrimony on September 16, 2011. Although Charles did not have a church home, he accepted Christ at an early age. Through the years he attended church services with his wife. Charles leaves to mourn, his loving wife Carolyn, sister Deborah (Sam) Hudson-Swain and brother Derrick Hudson. He leaves to cherish his loving memories, step-children: Celena Hunley, Arthur (Mika) Phillips, Raquel (Durrell) Scott and De 'Chelle Johnson. 17 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren. Uncle Isaac (Denise) Burns, aunt Melvina (Gale) Steve Cray-O'Riley. Cousin/ Uncle Thomas (Michael) Harrison, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
