Claude D. Adams

CLAUDE D. ADAMS, 77 of Buffalo, New York was born  August 17, 1942 in Gaffney, S.C. to the late Jones Adams Sr. and Lessie Adams.  He was the (The Baby) ninth of nine children.

After leaving home at 18 years old he relocated to Buffalo, NY met and married Katherine Woods and to this union one son, Darvin, and daughter Danita.  He worked several jobs throughout his life and retired from Atlas Steel.  He was a member of Holy Cross Roman Catholic Church.

He was preceded in death by six brothers, Jones (June) Adams (Josephine),  Cornell Adams, Williams (Queen) Adams, Willie Edward Adams, Oscar Adams, and John Otha Adams., and two sisters Elizabeth Adams, and Pansey Adams Hardin.

Left to cherish his memories daughter Danita Adams, two sons Darvin Adams and Jeffery Thomas, Godson Ross Woods.  Two grandsons, Domeneque Collins and Armon Adams, granddaughter Bianca Cameron, 2 great-grandsons David Truesdale and Jabril McKinnis and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Family will receives friends 10:00 am Monday, March 9, 2020 at Holy Cross Roman Catholic Church, 345 7th St., Buffalo, NY 14201.  Funeral to follow at 11:00 am.

Entombment at Forest Lawn Serenity Mausoleum, Buffalo, NY.
