Darrell V. Johnson

Darrell Johnson was born in Buffalo, NY on January14th, 1956 to the late Arthur L. Johnson Sr. and Lillie B. Corker. Darrell was called home to be with the Lord on October 9, 2024.

Darrell graduated from Burgard High School and then went on to work for the Buffalo Public School system as an Engineer, where he retired in 2017 after over 40 years. Darrell enjoyed spending time with his family, listening to music, playing the guitar, watching sports and spending time near water. 

Darrell confessed Jesus Christ as his savior in 2019 at Cross Harvest Ministries church. Darrell is known for his sweet and mild disposition, sense of humor and love for his Trans-Am cars he has owned. 

Darrell was preceded in death by his sisters Gloria Mason, Verlee Adams, and brother Rodney L. Johnson.

He leaves to cherish his memory, two daughters, LaToya and Elonda Johnson of Buffalo; siblings Charles Johnson, Veronica (Robert) Brinson, Arthur L. (Addie) Johnson Jr., Karen (Kaaher) Trotter, Reginald (Dorine) Johnson, Joseph (Constance) Vaden, and Sonia Thomas and host of nieces and nephews.
