HIS TIME TO BE BORN
On December 12, 1938, a handsome baby boy named Waymond was born to the parentage of the late Elmira and James Reeves.
HIS TIME TO LOVE AND MULTIPLY
In early 1964, he met and married Addie B. Driver and inherited two children: Martin and Sharon, later he became father to John Henry Lewis and the late Dondrelia Lewis.
HIS TIME TO SERVE THE LORD
Deacon Reeves was a true Servant of God. He served as the Chairman of the Deacon Board at Mount Ararat Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Rev. W. L. Jones and also at United Church of Faith under the leadership of the late Rev. Richard Taylor, before coming to his home True Bethel Baptist Church under the leadership of Darius G. Pridgen where he served until his death.
HIS TIME TO MOURN
Waymond was preceded in death by his parents: Elmira and James Reeves; wife Addie B. Reeves; two sisters: Oralee Brown and Eugenia Jackson; one brother James Reeves; and one daughter Dondrelia A. Lewis.
HIS TIME TO DIE
The final brick was laid after celebrating (85 years). Waymond a.k.a.
Poppa was summoned home at approximately 3:30pm on Sunday, November 10, 2024.
Now at peace Our Father Deacon Waymond Reeves leaves to cherish his memories and legacy of love, one sister Yvonne Calhoun; sons: Martin L.
Moore, Anthony Parker and John Henry Lewis; daughter Sharon A Hennegan; five grandchildren: Theresa, Tachelle, Wilbert III, Nicole and Isaiah; great-grandchildren: JaQuan, Kenneth, Mykel, Amir, liana, Cordale, Weebo, A..., Ashton, Liair and Antonio; great-great grandchildren: Amir Jr., JaQuan Jr. and Jásian; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
