Deborah Turner Motley, second child born to the late Rev. Willie G.
Turner and Lille Mae Thomas Turner on May 30, 1957.
She met and Married the love of her life Willie Albert Motley known as
son. This marriage was blessed with one son Eric Motley. She graduated
from buffalo public school and attended Bryant and Stratton College
where she received a medical assistant certificate. She retired after many
years from Sisters and St. Joseph Hospital.
Deborah excepted Christ as her savior and was baptized on October 5,
1975 by her grandfather, the late Rev. W.G. Turner. She served on the
ushers board and sang in the choir at Mt. Cannel Baptist Church. Her
favorite songs were Poor Boy and Can't Nobody Do Me Like Jesus.
Family fun was important to Deborah. She enjoyed cooking, jokes,
laughs, spending time with her family and taking older people to the
store, doctors appointments and many other chores.
Deborah was preceded in death by her parents: Willie G. Turner and
Lillie Mae Turner, brother; Joseph Turner, sister: Gail Turner, Mother
Mary Reed and Grandson: Gregory Treadwell.
She leaves to cherish her memories, three sons: Richard Grandy
(Marilyn - Gigi), John Massey (Samari), Eric Motley (Amanda), one
daughter: Pamela Davis, Brothers: Lawrence Turner (Kim), Derrick
Turner (Karisma) and Horace Miller (Tiffany). Sisters Margarita
Turner - Tuscaloosa, Alabama, Sabrina Moppin - Cindy New (Edward),
and Charlene Mitchell, a loving step mother: Marie Turner, one God-
child: Jarren Harris, four stepchildren: Darrel (Delores) Motley,
Dwayne (Darlene) Motley, Katrina (Michael) Thomas and Vanessa
Motley. 13 Grandchildren, one great-grandchild, 17 step grandchildren,
sister in laws: Albertua Motley and Elizabeth Morris, two special nieces:
Andrea Davis and Victoria Gray, nephew: Ronnie Gray, one aunt: Mary
Grayson, long time friends Annie Pryor and family as well as a host of
nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
