Gwenice M, Taylor was born on July 20, 1956 in Buffalo NY, to James & Rose Marie Taylor. Gwenice and her older brother Elijah Goddard Jr also known as "Skippy" grew up in the same home. 'He was always her protector. Later in life Gwenice was blessed to become a mother to her only child Jer'rome Cummings. He gifted her with a loving and caring grandson Amire... Gwenice grew up in the Jefferson Projects with her cousin's Carol, Chuckie, Bonnie, Nina and Billy. Gwen attended school #74 & Fillmore Middle, Gwen went on to Lafayette H.S for a short term then transferred to Bennett High School excellerating and graduating Early. Also attended College at U.B & Bryant and Stratton. Her work ethic was amazing! she worked at Geneva B. Scrubs and NYS Developmental Center were she retired. Gwen was later married to George Adu Gyamfi. She also had an longtime companion for many many year's Rodney Moser her very special friend.

Gwenice Taylor was LOVED by many. She was a great Mother, Grandmother and Friend. Her smile was unforgetable. Gwenice glow would light up any room. She enjoyed throwing her house parties were they would play spades and pokeno.Her cooking will melt in your mouth and if she couldn't do nothing else she would Feed ya! Gwen and her cousin bonnie would go out and dance in the early 70's were they had a great time.

As God calls her Home. She is now predeceased in Death by her Mother, Father and her brother "Skippy", A Nephew Elijah Goddard III, Also a very special friend Swana J, Mclver. She leaves to mourn her son Jer'rome, Sister's Shareen Morell' Williams, Veronica Rosborough from Mansfield TX, Angela Wilcox, and brother James Morrell, Also her Grandchildren Amire, Amina and king.
