Herbert Polk Obituary

Herbert Polk, best known as Joe Polk, age 78, of Buffalo NY, passed away on Tuesday, March 1, 2022. Jo Jo, as he was affectionately called by family and friends, was born January 21, 1944, in Marianna, Arkansas, to the late Zelma Beatrice and the late Robert D Polk. Joe married the love of his life. Doris Jones Oct 1, 1971, they have one son, Jeremiah Polk. Joe relocated to Buffalo, NY and began working at the UAW-Ford Stamping plant local 897 in Lackawanna, NY, in 1968 retiring after 39 years in 2017. Joe, has six siblings surviving him in death: Hazel Barnes (Hubert), Melcine Davis, Henrietta Walter, Clarence, Curtis, and Tommy Junior. In addition to a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins that loved him dearly and will miss him as he takes his eternal rest.
