Hilton J Crawford, Jr

Hilton J. Crawford, Jr, affectionately known as "Conrad," was born February 2, 1945 to Valice and Hilton J. Crawford, Sr in Converse, LA.  He departed this life July 5, 2014.

Hilton is a attended and graduated from Grambling State University on a football scholarship.  He was drafted by San Francisco 49ers as a defensive back in May 1969.  He came to Buffalo in September 1969 and played for the Buffalo Bills.  Hilton continued to remain active with the Buffalo Bills Alumni Foundation, which raises funds for various charities and community organizations.

After football, He gained employment with the NYS Mental Health System in January 1970 as a Senior Recreation Therapist until retirement in 2005.   

Hilton leaves to mourn his wife Althea (Denise) and a host of other family and friends.  Memorial services will be held Friday, October 10, 2014 from 2-5pm at the Forest Lawn Cemetery Chapel, 1411 Delaware Ave, Buffalo-14209.
