Janel N. Thompson

Janel was born on February 5th, 2004. Janel was a product of the Buffalo Public School system. She started her educational journey at the Futures Academy where she graduated from 8th grade. She then went on to Bennett High School, graduating in June of 2022.

Janel had a kind and giving spirit, along with an infectious laugh. It was easy to get her to smile and giggle with her loved ones. She loved spending time interacting or playing with her little cousins and nephews.

Growing up, she was an active member at Dayspring Church. She was baptized on January 23rd, 2015. She participated in summer camp, plays and youth church.

She enjoyed fashion design and restructuring her clothing to create a new look. As she got older, she enjoyed trying new hairstyles with plenty of color. Janel learned to experiment with makeup and loved her lashes. Her presence will truly be missed.

Janel leaves behind to cherish her loving memory: her parents Shirley (Emory) Winston, siblings; Kyrie Thompson, Jessica Thompson, Crystal Wright and Camille Kelley. Nephews: Nacarion Richardson and Julian Robinson and a host of cousins, friends, and family.
