Martha Louise Mills

MARTHA LOUISE MILLS, entered into rest at the age of 76.  Martha Louise Mills was born on January 31, 1944 in Bessemer, Alabama to the late Mary L. Johnson and Andrew Mills.  Martha attended Buffalo Public School #50 and continued her education at East High School.

Martha worked various jobs. She retired from Laidlaw School Bus Co. Martha several hobbies cooking, playing Pokeno and Bingo. Martha accepted Christ at an early age at St. Boniface Roman Catholic Church and continued her faith at St. Martin De Porres Roman Catholic Church.

Martha Louise Mills transitioned into heaven peacefully on August 20, 2020 surrounded by family. She was preceded in death by her parents: Mary L. Johnson and Andrew Mills; aunt Emma Brant; three sisters: Johnnie Mae Eldridge, Patty Ford and Brenda Mills; two brothers: Willie Mills and Joseph Terrell; three nephews: Rayshawn Lewis, Adrain Mills and Deshawn White; and four grandchildren: Jamel, Romelo, Jasen and Mason Easley.

Martha leaves to cherish her memory, four sons: Michael (Maria) Easley, Reginald (Shirley), Jeffery and Andre Mills; three sisters: Hattie Weatherspoon, Carol (Coleman) Jones and Jacqueline (Ronald) Brantley: seven brothers: Jessie Ivory, Fred (Renee), Alfred (Dana), Arthur, Andrew Mills, Dennis Wilson and Henry Ford; uncle Ceodis Mills; and a host of grand and great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Family will receive friends Wednesday, August 26, 2020 from 5-7 pm at Brian K. Lewis Funeral Home, 2528 Bailey Ave., Buffalo, New York 14215.  Funeral will be held 10:00 am Thursday, August 27, 2020 at St. Martin De Porres Roman Catholic Church, 555 Northampton St., Buffalo, New York.  In compliance with the public health guidelines during the Covid-19 Pandemic, visitation will be monitored to limit gathering sizes based on the most current recommendations and a mask must be worn at all times. 

Interment Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Cheektowaga, New York.
