Melvin D. Bobbitt "Smooth"

Melvin Bobbitt was bon on December 21, 1957 to Joseph Bobbitt and Shirley Bobbitt in Lackawanna, NY. Melvin accepted Christ at an early age. Melvin enjoyed playing basketball where he gained the name "Smooth" for being one of the greatest ball players around. Mr. Smooth won multiple first place trophies in the Gus Macker Tournaments. Melvin also enjoyed playing chess. He was very competitive with his brothers and his uncle Jonnie.

Melvin was preceded in death by his father Joseph Bobbitt; his mother Shirley Bobbitt; brother Thomas Bobbitt; and his wife Hazel Bobbitt. Melvin leaves lo cherish his memory, his sisters: Cynthia (Charles) Hart, JoAnn Bobbitt, Sandra (Chris) Hamilton and Simmone Washington; brothers: Joseph Bobbitt and Dennis Bobbitt; and a host of nieces and nephews.
