Robert Lee Scott was born May 7th, 1934, in Hatchechubbe, Alabama to Mr. and Mrs. Limmie and Rose Scott.
He attended Praco High School. He was united in holy matrimony to Everlois C. Thompson Scott (who preceded him in death). Mr. and Mrs. Scott moved to Buffalo, New York. Robert became self employed when he started his own business, “Scotts Car Wash” where he served the community for over 50 years. He confessed to the church at an early age when he joined New Zion Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. S.K Lewis and Rev. Williams(previous). He also started a gospel group, “The Gospel Tornadoes” of Buffalo, New York
Robert leaves to mourn; A daughter Elaine (Scott) Champion, 5 sons – Arthur (Susan) Scott or Marysville, California, Whom Arthur preceded him in death. Melvin Lewis Scott, Robert L. (Michelle) Scott III, Christopher E. (Liz) Scott and Jermaine Scott, all of Buffalo, New York. Robert has three brothers that preceded him in death, one of who he leaves behind in Birmingham, Alabama Edward Scott, four sisters that preceded him in death and one Grandson (Hannibal Scott) and three sisters-in-laws. Robert also leaves behind twenty-three Grandchildren, 24 Great Grandchildren, two Great-Great Grandchildren, One Brother-in-Law Dwight Thompson of Birmingham and a host of Nieces and Nephews by whom he will be truly missed.
