Rochelle Burns Obituary

Rochelle Sandra Burns was born in Buffalo, NY, to the late Joseph and Lucretia Burns on May 16, 1946. Rochelle obtained her GED and attended The Buffalo Sisters of Charity Hospital School of Nursing. She was employed for 13 years at Sisters of Charity Hospital as a Certified Nursing Assistant.

Rochelle joined True Bethel Baptist Church in January 2022. Anyone who knew Rochelle knew she had a "no-nonsense" attitude but a great sense of humor. She enjoyed playing pool, puzzles, reading, music and dancing.

Rochelle leaves behind two daughters: Tracey R. Thomas "Beard" and Katina Shepherd; brothers: Isaac Burns (Denise) and Thomas "Michael" Harrison; sister: Melvina "Gale" Cray-O'Riley (Steve); grandchildren: Zynobia Pickett, Michael McClurkin, M.D. MPP, Maleenah and Issac Levin, Jenelle Brewton (Kareem); two great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Rochelle will be missed but never forgotten.
