Thedis Dobbs Obituary

THEDIS DOBBS, wasborn in Union Springs, Alabama to Pallas Pruett Williams and Algie Williams. She was the second oldest of seven brothers and sisters.

She came to Buffalo in the late 50's. She and Fosie Gray married in 1961 and became the proud parents of one daughter, Celeste.

Thedis worked at Arcata Graphics for 35 years and retired early to travel and enjoy life.

Thedis was known for her southern cooking and her famous cream cheese pound cakes.

She was preceded in death by her sisters: Grace Williams Cogman and Thelma WIlliams; brother Ernest WIlliams.

Thedis leaves to cherish her memories her daughter Celesste Pouncey; grandson Andre Pouncey; two great grandchildren: Montana Pouncey and Santana Pouncey; Goddaughter Nina Davis; and siblings: Algie Wilson, Curtis Williams and Clarence Williams.
