Daddy, I just had someone come up to me and remind me of how great of a guy you were... the 'were' is what got me. It was just another painful reminder that you're not here anymore. I still have trouble believing this... I miss you dearly.

My heartfelt condolences to the Gilbert family. I became a friend of David when we met in 1976 while working at Erie Scientific. He always had a smile on his face as he made his rounds each morning saying hello to everyone. I ask that God Bless his family during this difficult time.

Dear Ms. Clara:
I was one of the young girls who was alway at your house on Glenwood. I loved all of your boys, Grady, Jeff, David, and Michael. I loved Grampa, Brenda and even Sweetie. You all were a special part of my life and growing in to womanhood. David was the first boy that every noticed me and claimed me as his forever girlfriend. I never forgot him, even though he could not make up his mind about me and Mary. Although no words could ever make you feel better in this moment, I want you to know that girls from our neighborhood loved David: Me, Val, Angel and that love never left us. I pray God will comfort you in this time and bring happy and joyful memories in place of tears soon.

To the Gilbert Family...I remember Bro. David's laughter and sense of humor with everyone. He always had a smile on his face, and he was a happy guy. We are praying that our loving Father God will comfort you at this sad time, and bless you with strength and peace. God healeth the brokenhearted, and bindeth up their wounds. The loss of a loved one to death is very difficult to handle. One thing that has always comforted me during such a time is the hope for the dead mentioned at Acts 24:15. Also the fact that one day "death will be no more"at Revelation 21:3,4. This is a promise that Jehovah God will fulfill in the near future. Please accept my sincere condolences.

The pain caused by death is unmatched. Comfort and hope are provided in Gods Word, 2 Corinthians 1:2-5 speaks of Jehovah as being a God of comfort. My family and I have experienced his comfort during our times of loss. Please accept our condolences at this difficult time.
