Jimmy L. Ruffin

JIMMY L. RUFFIN, affectionately known as "Country," was born March 2, 1975 to Jimmy Ruffin and Patricia Maye in York, Alabama. He departed this life April 29, 2017.

Jimmy received his education in the Alabama School System. He relocated to Buffalo, NY. In 2004, he married Rasheen K. Spencer. Together, they raised their children and cherished the best of times together. Jimmy attended New Life World Harvest Restoration Center. Along his journey with Christ, he was baptized.  As a believer, the holy spirit allowed him to assist the pastor in the baptism of others, displaying his true affection and public confession of his Christian Faith.

Jimmy was a charitable man. He would fix things, wash cars and do whatever he could to help others in the neighborhood. Jimmy also enjoyed cooking, watching football, jewelry-making and spending time with his dog, Suki. He will be missed by many.  

Jimmy is preceded in death by his father, Jimmy Ruffin.

Jimmy leaves to cherish his memories his beloved wife, Rasheen K. Ruffin; four children, Sandricka Ruffin, Jimmy (Lil J) Ruffin, Cameron Dunning and Andrea Johnson, sisblings, Mikki Maye, Angela Maye and Andrella Maye; 7 grandchildren; mothers, Patricia Maye and Mary Alice Ruffin (whom raised him since birth); a devoted family pet, Suki, and a host of other loving family and friends.
